DUBAI, 18th September, 2022 (WAM) — Dubai Smart Police Stations (SPS), the first and only unmanned smart police stations in the world, has welcomed 2,067,000 visitors and intelligently processed 363,189 transactions since its introduction in 2017.

Major General Ali Ahmed Ghanim, Director of the General Logistics Support Department and Head of the Government and Private Sector Team for Smart Police Stations, said: “Today, on the 5th anniversary of the inauguration of the first intelligent police station (SPS), we are proud to be the pioneers of digital transformation and the use of intelligent police services to provide customers with intelligent services 24/7 and without human intervention.

Major General Ghanim explained that the success of the SPS project reflects the concern of the Dubai Police General Command to achieve the government’s goal of improving the quality of life of community members, under the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.

“Residents, visitors and tourists in Dubai can easily benefit from smart policing around the clock and without human intervention through these smart police stations, which deliver top-notch services with ease and to the highest standards. high,” Maj. Gen. Ghanim said.

The 22 SPS, in all its editions – SPS, Drive-Thru, Walk-in, offers 27 essential services 24/7, such as crime and traffic incident reporting, and offers 33 other community services to customers in seven languages: Arabic, English, Spanish, French, German, Russian and Chinese.

During EXPO 2020 Dubai, the Smart Police Station (SPS) welcomed visitors, residents and delegations of Prime Ministers, Presidents, Ministers, Royalty and Distinguished Persons from around the world. Self-service police stations served Expo 2020 visitors 24/7.
